I've read a lot of cigar reviews in the last few years while studying to be a tobacconist. The writers cover origins of the tobacco filler, binder, wrap, construction, burn, and identify the "notes" of flavor discernable to their particular palate. If you're like me, some of these "notes" are barely perceivable. Others are detected that were never mentioned. Taste is truly subjective.
Be your own critic. Don't just smoke your cigar. Touch it, smell it, toast it and try to identify the notes making a symphony in your mouth, nose and most importantly your brain. We have pleasure awaiting every palate. What's your pleasure?
